Erin Byrne, President and CEO
Erin brings 20 years of high-tech business expertise from the telecom optical components sector. Her assignments included Product Group Leadership for optical components at TriQuint Optoelectronics and Strategic Marketing Leadership for transmission components at Agere Systems. She also led Product Development and Manufacturing Engineering teams at Lucent and AT&T Microelectronics. Erin began her career as a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Murray Hill, NJ, after completing her Ph. D. studies in Chemistry at Cornell University.Douglas Herr, CTO
Doug founded Lepton in 2004 with Paul LaFond, and is the inventor of the core sensing technology. Prior to Lepton Doug was Applications Engineering Manager for optical components at both Princeton Optronics and Lucent/Agere Systems. He also brings background from the photomultiplier tube industry, where he worked as an Applications Manager and Product Engineer for Burle Industries (formerly RCA). Doug began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Holmdel, NJ, as a Member of Technical Staff after receiving his M. Paul is an experienced high-tech Sales leader and is a co-founder of Lepton. Previously Paul was VP, Sales & Marketing at Princeton Optronics and VP, Sales at ADC. He is also an experienced entrepreneur, having served as President of both Weather Services Corp. and Connectivity, Inc. Paul holds an MBA from Suffolk University and a B. S. in Science from Villanova University.
